Changing it up… Party Buffets

I absolutely LOVE Dessert Buffets and Candy Buffets, they just add that special something to a party. I really like it when there is a lot of variety on the table, the color palette matches the party and different height make it more visually appealing.

But as I have recently discovered sweets are just one of the things you can put on a beautiful party buffet. Here are some other ideas that I can’t wait to try…

Latte Art… There’s a Canvas for Everyone…

Latte art is a method of preparing coffee created by pouring steamed milk into a shot of espresso and resulting in a pattern or design on the surface of the resulting latte.

I love it when simple everyday things are given a little something special, its like making the ordinary…  EXTRAORDINARY… And that is exactly what “Latte Art” is, the new trend in coffee embellishment… Not only does this require an artistic side, but technique, precision and even physics are required … And people are getting really, really creative…

Here are a few of my favorite:

And for those of you brave enough to try it out, here is a “easy” latte art tutorial from Klatch Coffee.

I wish all my coffees came like this :)

Sparkling Cocktails…

If you know me (and I think I’ve mentioned this before), I LOVE anything embellished (more sparklier = happier me)! And quite honestly I believe it is those special details that bring smiles to peoples faces!

Bedazzling cocktails is a simple and inexpensive way to jazz up drinks…

So I would like to share some of my all time favorite shimmery cocktails and lucky for us they come with instructions!

The Somewhere Splendid Blog recently shared this Martha Stewart creation… To make these fabulous stirrers, click here.
